On-air field photographer and filmmaker Horst A. Friedrichs lives in London when he is not travelling. His first book, Troubadour of Allah, was published in 1999.
In 2004, he filmed a documentary about the slaughter of dolphins in Japan called Blood Red Sea.
His ongoing major work for the past 10 years is a documentary film and a book in Venezuela called Desert Angels, scheduled for publication in 2006.
